sX ADAPT

Reads the prior bar's range and plots the entry, stop, and targets for you, automatically, in whichever setup is actually forming: reversal, directional, or gap fill.

Overview

sX ADAPT is a chart overlay that builds a fib-style level ladder from a higher timeframe bar (daily by default) and tracks it in real time. Instead of manually drawing entries and targets, ADAPT detects which kind of setup is on the chart and plots the full trade plan: Entry, Stop Loss, TP1, and TP2, with an optional Early Entry mode and stair-step extension targets when price runs further than expected.

It works on any symbol and any chart timeframe, holds the plotted levels through minor wicks with an anti-blink filter, and can optionally suggest a rounded option contract to trade the setup with, including a live premium if you want it.

How It Works

Two anchors, one ladder

Every setup is built from two anchor prices: a 0% Base and a 100% TP2. Everything else, Entry, Stop, TP1, is a percentage of the distance between those two points, the same way a fib retracement tool works.

🎯 TP2 · 100%full target
🎯 TP1 · 50%first target
📍 Entry · 25% (8% in Early mode)trigger level
🛑 Stop · 12.5% (4% in Early mode)invalidation
0% Baseanchor

Standard Entry Mode uses the 25% level for entry and 12.5% for stop. Early Entry Mode swaps to an 8% entry and a 4% stop instead, closer to the base, for traders who want in earlier and are comfortable with a smaller cushion.

Setup Types

ADAPT can run in one forced mode, or in Auto, where it detects the right mode per direction on its own.

REVERSAL

25sense. Price sweeps the prior bar's high or low, then closes back through the 25% entry level. The anchor is the swept extreme itself.

DIRECTIONAL

Same fib ladder, no sweep required. The levels project from the period's open in the trade direction, toward the prior bar's opposite extreme.

GAP FILL

The current bar opened outside the prior bar's range. 0% is the open, and TP2 targets the prior bar's nearest extreme, essentially playing the gap closing.

AUTO

Per direction: a gap open starts as Gap Fill and transforms into Reversal once price closes beyond the reversal entry. Otherwise Directional while inside the prior range, flipping to Reversal on a sweep.

💡

Pre-Trigger Bias (Auto direction only) controls what shows before either side has triggered. Trigger shows nothing until a close crosses an entry level. Guess leans toward the still-forming candle's current direction, but a real trigger always overrides the guess instantly.

Stair-Step Extensions

Directional mode only. If the current period opens beyond the prior high or low, the "default" TP2 has already been reached before the bar even started. Stair-Step scans back through history to find the first un-breached extreme and locks that as TP2 for the whole period, sizing Entry, Stop, and TP1 off it. As price breaks through, extension targets (TP3, TP4, and beyond) appear automatically at the next un-breached levels, up to the configured Stair-Step Depth.

⚡ ADAPT Setup

SettingWhat it does
Setup TypeForce Reversal, Directional, Gap Fill, or let Auto decide per direction.
DirectionAuto-detects the active side, or force Up / Down to always plot one direction.
Pre-Trigger BiasTrigger (wait for confirmation) or Guess (lean with the forming candle) before a real trigger fires.
TimeframeWhich prior bar defines the range, Daily by default. Levels only display while chart TF ≤ this.
LookbackWhich closed bar sets the range. 1 = the standard, most recent prior bar.
Show ADAPT Until CloseAnti-blink hold: after triggering, a setup stays plotted until price closes on the wrong side for two consecutive confirmation candles.
Directional 0% BaseWhere the base of the ladder sits in Directional mode, the current HTF open, or a custom price.
TP2 (100%) LevelPrior bar's high/low by default, or set a custom price.
Stair-Step DepthHow far back Directional mode scans to find the next un-breached extension level.

⏰ Entry Settings

SettingWhat it does
Entry ModeStandard (25%/12.5%) or Early (8%/4%), each with independent line, color, and fill styling.

📏 Lines & Labels / 🎯 Levels

SettingWhat it does
Line Start / EndAnchor lines to the entry candle or a custom offset, and extend them left/right by a set number of bars.
Show TP2 / TP1 / Base / Entry / SLToggle each level's line, label color, style, and width independently.
Label SizeFont size in pixels for all level labels.

🎨 Zone Fills / 📦 Zone Box

SettingWhat it does
Risk / Reward 1 / Reward 2 fillsShaded zones between Stop→Entry, Entry→TP1, and TP1→TP2.
EE Risk / EE Reward fillsEquivalent shaded zones for Early Entry mode.
Box StartFills begin at the entry candle, or at the start of the HTF period.
Box Start FallbackIf no entry has fired yet, preview the setup from the period open instead of hiding fills entirely.

📊 Setup Table / 💡 Suggest Contract

SettingWhat it does
Show TableDisplays the live Setup, Entry, SL, TP1, TP2 panel on the chart, placement configurable.
Show Extended TPsLists stair-step TP3+ extension levels in the table as they appear (lines/labels always draw regardless).
Suggest ContractAdds a Suggested Contracts section: rounds Entry/TP1/TP2 to the nearest valid strike and auto-picks Calls or Puts based on direction.
ExpiryStrike Only (no live data), 0DTE, 1DTE, Next Friday, Monthly, or a manual date. Expiry Offset multiplies the cycle (e.g. Next Fri × 2 = two Fridays out).
DisplayStrike Only, or Strike & Price to show a live estimated premium alongside the strike.

Tips

ADAPT's levels only display while your chart timeframe is at or below the configured setup Timeframe. Trading a Daily-based setup on a Weekly chart won't show anything, drop to Daily or lower.
