01 / Overview
Key Features
OHLC Reference Levels
Plots the Open, High, Low, and Close of any higher timeframe as horizontal lines with 50%, 25%, and 12.5% retracements between them.
Color-Coded Lines (NEW v3)
Each line type has its own independent color, style, and width input. Open, High, Low, Close, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, and Custom Levels are all individually configurable.
LVL Mode
Stripped-down mode that shows only the most critical levels: H, L, and selected retracement levels for each TF. Reduces chart clutter on busy setups.
HTF Candle Visualization
Draws the higher-timeframe candle body as a box with wicks, labeled with day-of-week or hour. See the daily candle directly on your intraday chart.
Pre-Market Levels
Tracks pre-market high and low and plots them as reference lines for gap-and-go analysis.
Custom Levels
Two custom percentage levels per timeframe. Set any retracement or extension value for advanced STRAT analysis.
Dual Timeframe Support
Configure two independent HTF timeframes (TF A and TF B), each with their own OHLC levels and display settings.
Summary Table
Optional on-chart table showing all open prices for both timeframes at a glance.
→ v3 UpdatesX OHLC v3 adds full color coding for every line type. Open, High, Low, Close, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, and Custom Levels each have independent color, style (solid/dashed/dotted), and width inputs. This replaces the single-color approach of prior versions.
02 / Concept
How It Works
01
Select Timeframes
Choose TF A and TF B from the timeframe selectors. TF A is your primary reference (e.g. Daily). TF B is your secondary (e.g. Weekly). Each has independent OHLC display settings.
02
Fetch HTF OHLC Data
For each bar on the chart, the indicator fetches the current HTF open, high, low, and close using request.security(). These update when the HTF bar closes.
03
Draw Reference Lines
OHLC levels are drawn as horizontal lines extending left and right by the configured bar counts. Each level type uses its own color, style, and thickness from the display settings.
04
Calculate Retracements
50% = midpoint of high/low range. 25% = quarter from low. 12.5% = eighth from low. Inverted versions (75%, 87.5%) are also drawn. Custom levels use user-defined percentages.
05
LVL Mode (optional)
When LVL UP or LVL DOWN is enabled, the display strips to only the most relevant levels for directional bias — high, low, and the retracements below or above the midpoint respectively.

04 / Best Practices
Pro Tips
Use 50% as the Primary Pivot
The daily 50% midpoint is the single most important level in the STRAT framework. Price above the daily 50% is bullish; below is bearish. Watch for reactions here before any other level.
Color-Code by Significance
Use strong colors (solid lime, solid red) for High and Low. Use muted colors (dashed gray) for retracements. This creates an instant visual hierarchy — you see the boundaries first, then the detail.
LVL Mode for Cleaner Charts
On busy charts with both TF A and TF B active, enable LVL Mode on one timeframe to reduce line count. Only the most directionally relevant levels stay visible.
Pre-Market Levels for Gap Analysis
Enable Pre-Market High and Low before the open. If the regular session opens above PM High, that's a bullish gap structure. Below PM Low is bearish. These become key intraday reference levels.
