01 / Overview
Key Features
40-Ticker Scanner
Scan up to 40 tickers simultaneously on a single TradingView chart. No more flipping charts one by one.
6 Signal Types
Detects Inside Bar (1), 2-Up, 2-Down, Outside Bar (3), Hammer, Shooter, Failed 2-Up, and Failed 2-Down patterns.
TFC Filter
Trend-Following Candle filter. When ON, only shows signals where the signal direction agrees with the higher-timeframe candle color.
sXc Filter
EMA Cross filter. Filters by whether the fast EMA is above or below the slow EMA on the confluence timeframe.
6 Watchlist Slots
Configure up to 6 independent watchlists (WL1–WL6) with custom ticker groups per slot.
Lookback Control
Scan the current/forming candle (LB=0) or a recent closed candle (LB=1–3). Catch signals that formed earlier in the session.
Timeframe Selector
Set the screener timeframe independently from your chart timeframe. Daily signals on a 15m chart.
Clean Table Output
Results display in a compact, color-coded table. Bullish signals in green, bearish in red, neutral in gray.
02 / Concept
How It Works
→ The Core Purpose
FIND the Setup, Don't Hunt It
Most traders waste the first hour of the session scrolling through charts. Radar eliminates that. Every ticker in your watchlist is evaluated on every bar. When a STRAT signal fires, it appears in the table. You click the ticker, confirm with MTF Trends, and execute. That is the full Phase 1 workflow.
01
Configure Watchlists
Enter your tickers into one or more of the 6 watchlist slots. WL1 is your primary scan list. Use WL2–WL6 for sectors, index ETFs, or specific strategies.
02
Set the Screener Timeframe
This is the most important setting. Daily TF = swing setups. 1H TF = day trading setups. 5m TF = scalp setups. Match the TF to your hold time.
03
Enable Filters (Optional)
TFC ON = only show signals where the higher-TF candle agrees with the signal direction. sXc ON = only show signals where the EMA cross agrees. Both filters reduce noise significantly.
04
Set Lookback
LB=0 scans the current forming candle. LB=1 scans the last closed candle. Use LB=1 if you want to scan confirmed candles only.
05
Read the Table
Tickers with active signals appear in the table. Click any ticker to open its chart. Then go to Phase 2 (MTF Trends) to confirm before acting.
→ RuleDo not trade what isn't on the Radar. If a ticker didn't make the list, you don't have a setup — you have a hunch. The discipline of only trading Radar signals is what makes the system work.

05 / Best Practices
Pro Tips
Screener TF Is Your Most Important Setting
Wrong TF = wrong setups. Day traders on 1H get intraday setups. Swing traders on Daily get multi-day setups. Match the TF to your hold time before anything else.
Start Without Filters, Then Add Them
Run Radar without TFC or sXc first. Learn which signals appear. Then add TFC to see how many get filtered out. The filtered version shows you only the highest-conviction setups.
Build Watchlists by Sector
WL1 = your core 10–15 watchlist. WL2 = sector ETFs (XLK, XLF, XLE). WL3 = high-beta names (NVDA, TSLA, AAPL, AMD). Scan all three simultaneously.
Lookback=1 for Confirmed Signals
Lookback=0 scans the forming candle, which can repaint as the bar develops. Lookback=1 scans the last fully closed candle. More reliable for entries on the next bar.
Use the Web App for 5,000+ Tickers
sXRadar on TradingView is limited to 40 tickers per chart. For scanning the full optionable universe (5,290+ tickers), use sX Radar LIVE at sxradar.sofakingsuper.com. Same signals, no chart limit.
