Getting Started Guide / v1.0

sXSuiteCORE

A step-by-step path from "I just got access" to your first managed options trade. No prior STRAT knowledge required.

READ TIME / 15 MIN
SETUP TIME / 30 MIN
FIRST TRADE / BY DAY 4
→ WHAT IS SXSUITE, IN 30 SECONDS

sXSuite is a set of TradingView indicators that turn options trading into a three-step process: scan a watchlist for high-probability setups, confirm the trend agrees with your direction, then pick a contract and manage the trade with stops and targets already on your chart. The Core version is five tools. This guide gets you using two of them today, two more by week two, and the last one only when you actually need it.

01 / THE CORE IDEA

SCAN. ANALYZE. EXECUTE.

Every trade walks the same path. If a step disagrees, the trade isn't ready. That's the whole system.

PHASE 1
SCAN
Find the setup. Don't stare at charts hunting for one. Let the scanner show you which tickers are firing signals right now.
PHASE 2
ANALYZE
Check the trend. Does the bigger picture agree with what the signal is telling you? If higher timeframes disagree, pass.
PHASE 3
EXECUTE
Pick the contract, set the stop, mark the targets. You see your full risk and reward on the chart before you click buy.
REMEMBERThis system was built to slow you down at the right moments. If you rush past Analyze, you're guessing. If you skip the stop in Execute, you're hoping. The discipline IS the edge.
02 / PICK YOUR STYLE

WHAT KIND OF TRADER ARE YOU?

Your trading style decides almost every setting in sXSuite: which timeframe to scan, which expiry to buy, where to set your stop. Pick one to see your recommended preset.

sXSBox CORE
Maps intraday range with TP1, TP2, and the box-break trigger line.
sXOptions Chain CORE
Pick liquid strikes without leaving TradingView during the session.
sXOptions Analyzer CORE
Locks entry, tracks live P&L, fires the stop. Essential for active management.
sXOpens BONUS
Opening range breaks are bread-and-butter day-trade setups. Add this once Radar feels familiar.
sXOHLC BONUS
Prior-day high, low, and close act as intraday pivots and natural stop levels.
YOUR EDGEYou're at the screen all day, so use it. Watch the Radar refresh, react to fresh signals, and exit on the first sign the MTF Score flips. Don't hold day trades overnight, ever.

sXMTF Trends CORE
Reads the multi-day conviction. Strong+ scores are the ones that tend to survive overnight gaps.
sXSBox CORE
Your most important tool. Maps multi-day target zones so TP1, TP2, TP3 are already on the chart.
sXOptions Chain CORE
Pick liquid weeklies and monthlies once a day. No need for split-second access.
sXOptions Analyzer CORE
Tracks positions across days with stops anchored to SBox levels, not arbitrary percentages.
sX Cloud BONUS
Daily trend cloud confirms the bigger-picture bias before you hold a position overnight.
sX Notes BONUS
Journal each setup directly on the chart. Multi-day trades benefit most from written reasoning.
YOUR EDGEYou're not glued to the screen, so build your watchlist the night before and set alerts. Check in at open, midday, and close. Most swing trades only need three check-ins to manage.

sXMTF Trends CORE
Must read Super (75%+). Scalping anything weaker loses to intraday noise.
sXOptions Chain CORE
Critical for scalping. You need strikes in seconds, not minutes. Stay on TradingView.
sXOptions Analyzer CORE
Tight stop management. The Analyzer fires before your finger can find the sell button.
sXOpens BONUS
Opening drive is prime scalping territory in the first 15 minutes of the session.
sXOHLC BONUS
Prior-day levels make for clean scalp entries and exits. Price respects them more than you'd think.
HEADS UPScalping 0DTE is the highest-pressure mode in this entire system. If you're new, don't start here. Get 20 successful day or swing trades under your belt first.
03 / YOUR FIRST WEEK

FIVE DAYS, NO REAL MONEY

The fastest way to lose money is to install the suite and click buy on day one. This plan walks you from setup to your first informed trade by the end of week one.

DAY 1 / 30 MIN
INSTALL & SETUP
Add sXRadar to a TradingView chart. Load Watchlist 1 with your top 10 tickers (e.g., SPY, QQQ, NVDA, TSLA, AAPL). Set the screener TF to match your style.
DAY 2 / WATCH
JUST OBSERVE
Open Radar at market open. Watch which tickers fire signals. Don't trade. Just note: which signals appear most? Do they pay off by close?
DAY 3 / ADD MTF
LAYER THE CONVICTION READ
Add sXMTF Trends to a chart. Pick one ticker that fired today. Check the MTF Score. Would you have taken the trade if Score was Strong? Skipped if Neutral?
DAY 4 / PAPER
PAPER TRADE ONE SETUP
Pick a fresh signal with MTF Score Strong or better. Open your broker's paper trading. Pick a strike, set a mental stop, write down entry and target. Track it for a day.
DAY 5 / REVIEW
REVIEW & ADD SBOX
What worked? What didn't? Add sXSBox for the next week. Now you have entry zones, midpoints, and target levels mapped automatically. You're ready.
WHY THIS WORKSMost new users install everything at once, get overwhelmed, and quit by day three. The phased rollout builds confidence with each tool before adding the next. By day 5 you've used two tools, paper traded, and reviewed. That's a foundation.
04 / THE TOOLS

FIVE TOOLS, THREE TIERS

Don't install all five at once. Start with two. Add two more when you're comfortable. The fifth is optional if your broker already shows option chains.

→ Tier 1 / Start Here DAY 1 INSTALL The two tools that make every other one worth using
sXRadar / The Setup Scanner
Scans up to 40 tickers and tells you which ones are firing a STRAT pattern right now.
PHASE 1 / SCAN
→ IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Instead of flipping through 40 charts looking for "something interesting," Radar puts all 40 on one screen and highlights only the ones doing something worth watching. If a ticker isn't on the Radar, you don't have a setup. Period.
01
Load a watchlist. You get 6 slots. Use Watchlist 1 for your daily go-to tickers (10 to 15 names). Build slowly: SPY, QQQ, sector ETFs, and your favorite stocks are a fine start.
02
Pick your screener timeframe. This is the single most important setting. Daily for swing setups. 1H for day trading. 5m for scalps. Match it to your hold time.Setting this wrong makes the whole system feel broken.
03
Turn on TFC and sXc filters. Optional but powerful. These filters only show signals when higher timeframes agree. Fewer signals, much higher quality.
04
Use Lookback if you arrive late. Lookback 0 means "right now." Lookback 1 to 3 catches signals from the last few bars. Helps when you opened the platform mid-session.
RULEDon't trade what isn't on the Radar. If you find yourself opening a chart that didn't make the list, stop and ask: "Why am I about to trade something the system didn't flag?"
sXMTF Trends / The Conviction Read
Shows you the bias across 7 timeframes and gives you a single conviction score from -100% to +100%.
PHASE 2 / ANALYZE
→ IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Radar found a bullish signal. Cool. But is the bigger picture bullish too? MTF Trends answers that with a single number called the Score. High positive Score equals strong trend in your direction. Near zero equals chop. Negative equals you'd be fighting the bigger trend.
01
Read the Score first. Below 25% means Neutral (chop, stand down). 25 to 49% is Lean (trade with smaller size). 50 to 74% is Strong (standard conviction). 75%+ is Super (highest conviction, you can press).
02
Check the TFC row. TFC just means "is this candle green or red?" All green across timeframes equals full bullish stack. Mixed equals caution.
03
Match higher timeframes to your direction. Day trading off a 1H signal? At minimum, the 4H and Daily should agree with you. Fighting higher timeframes usually loses. This is the single biggest filter you can apply.
04
Use ATR cells for reality checks. ATR tells you how much each timeframe typically moves. If daily ATR is $5 and you're targeting $1, that's realistic. Targeting $10 in one day is asking for double the normal range.
RULE OF THUMBLean equals smaller size. Strong equals standard. Super equals press. Neutral equals stand down. If the Score doesn't match your direction, the Radar signal was a false start.
→ Tier 2 / Add Week 2 WEEK 2 EXPANSION Add these once Radar and MTF feel familiar
sXSBox / The Trade Map
Draws a box between a meaningful swing high and swing low, with target levels projected above and below.
PHASE 2 / ANALYZE
→ IN PLAIN ENGLISH
SBox draws the boundaries of price. The top is resistance, the bottom is support, the middle is a pivot, and the projected lines above and below are your profit targets. Instead of guessing where to take profit, the levels are already on the chart.
01
Use the auto box first. Let it pick swing points from recent price action. You can refine later.
02
Read the midpoint as a pivot. Above the midpoint, bias is bullish. Below, bias is bearish. Price reclaiming or losing the midpoint is a real event.
03
Use Target Points as your TPs. The projected lines above the box become TP1 and TP2 for longs. Same in reverse for shorts. These are real prices, not numbers you made up.
04
The breakout line is the trigger. Price closing above the box top with conviction is the breakout. A close back inside is the failure signal.
sXOptions Analyzer / Plan & Track
Takes your chosen contract and shows you the exact stock prices that hit your targets and stop.
PHASE 3 / EXECUTE
→ IN PLAIN ENGLISH
You picked a contract. Now what? The Analyzer translates "I want 50% gain" into "the stock needs to hit $245.30." Your entire risk/reward map is drawn on the chart before you click buy. Then it tracks your live P&L so you don't flip to your broker every 30 seconds.
01
Set the contract first. Pick expiry, calls or puts, and strike. With Auto Strike on, the strike is an offset from ATM (+3 means three above).
02
Lock entry the moment you fill. Hit Lock to capture the live stock price as your reference. Every P&L number is anchored here.
03
Plan TPs from SBox levels. Toggle "Stock $" mode and type in your SBox Target Points. Now your TPs match real chart levels, not arbitrary percentages.
04
Set the stop BEFORE you buy. Type a positive % for a fixed stop, negative % for a trailing profit lock. Non-negotiable.If you don't know where you're wrong, you don't have a trade.
NON-NEGOTIABLEThe stop loss is configured before you buy the option. Not after. Not "I'll watch it." Before. This single discipline separates traders from gamblers.
→ Tier 3 / Optional WHEN YOU NEED IT Most brokers show option chains. Add this only if you want the chain on your TradingView chart.
sXOptions Chain / Live Strike Selector
Shows a live 9-strike option chain right on your chart with prices, deltas, and volume.
PHASE 3 / EXECUTE
→ IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Convenience tool. Lets you pick contracts without flipping to your broker. Useful if you trade entirely from TradingView. Skip if your broker's chain is already familiar.
01
Pick expiry with the presets: 0DTE, 1DTE, Next Fri, 2x Fri, or Monthly. Or set a manual date.
02
Read delta for exposure. A 0.50 delta call gains about $0.50 per $1 the stock moves up. 0.30 to 0.45 is a common balance. Below 0.20 is lottery territory.
03
Check volume. Low volume equals wide spreads equals you bleed money on entry and exit. Always pick liquid strikes.
04
Use the Price Filter to budget shop. Set min/max price (like $0.50 to $2.00) and it highlights the highest-volume contracts in your range.
05 / SIGNAL CHEAT SHEET

WHAT THE BARS MEAN

Radar fires signals based on the STRAT methodology. Here are the patterns you'll see most. Memorize the four bullish and four bearish, ignore everything else for now.

2u → CALLS
Two Up
Bar made a higher high than the prior bar. Price is pushing up. Primary call setup when higher timeframes agree.
2d → PUTS
Two Down
Bar made a lower low than the prior bar. Price is pushing down. Primary put setup when higher timeframes agree.
HA → CALLS
Hammer
Long lower wick. Sellers pushed price down, buyers rejected it. Signals a reversal up, especially after a 2d sets the low.
SH → PUTS
Shooter
Long upper wick. Buyers pushed price up, sellers rejected it. Signals a reversal down, especially after a 2u sets the high.
F2D → CALLS
Fail 2-Down
Bar tried to break the prior low but closed back above it. Bearish trap turning bullish. High-conviction reversal.
F2U → PUTS
Fail 2-Up
Bar tried to break the prior high but closed back below it. Bullish trap turning bearish. High-conviction reversal.
1 → WAIT
Inside Bar
Bar is coiled inside the prior bar's range. Direction undecided. The next bar resolves it. Don't pre-position.
3 → FOLLOW CLOSE
Outside Bar
Bar made both a higher high AND lower low. Expansion bar. Direction depends on where it closes (green for calls, red for puts).
QUICK GUIDEBullish signals (2u, HA, F2D, green 3) point to calls. Bearish signals (2d, SH, F2U, red 3) point to puts. Inside bars (1) mean wait, the next bar decides.
06 / YOUR FIRST TRADE

A WALKTHROUGH IN SIX STEPS

This is the exact path a real trade walks. Use it as a script for your first 10 trades.

1
Open Radar at market open and pick a fired signal
Example: NVDA fires a 2u on the 1H at 9:45am with TFC and sXc filters on. The signal made the cut, which means higher timeframes likely agree. Click the ticker to open its chart.
2
Check MTF Trends for confirmation
Open MTF Trends on the NVDA chart. Score reads Strong Bull at 62%. TFC is green on 1H, 4H, and Daily. This passes Phase 2. If Score had been Neutral, you'd stop right here and move to the next ticker.
3
Map the trade with SBox
SBox auto-draws the recent range. Current price is just above the midpoint pivot. TP1 sits at $250, TP2 at $258. The box bottom at $238 is your invalidation. You now know exactly where you're going and where you're wrong.
4
Pick the contract
You're swing trading. Pick Next Friday expiry, NVDA $245 call, delta 0.45, with volume in the thousands. Contract costs $2.40. You're risking $240 per contract.
5
Configure the Analyzer BEFORE you buy
Open the Analyzer. Set TP1 to $250 stock, TP2 to $258 stock (pulled from SBox). Set stop loss at -50% option premium. You see on the chart that the stop triggers if NVDA closes below ~$242. That's your line in the sand.
6
Buy, lock entry, walk away
Click buy. The instant you fill, hit Lock in the Analyzer to capture your entry. Turn on Live P&L. Now go do something else. The chart will tell you when TP1 hits or the stop triggers. Hovering is not a strategy.
THE FORMULARadar finds it. MTF confirms it. SBox maps it. Chain (or your broker) picks the contract. Analyzer plans and tracks it. Every trade walks every step. If a step disagrees, the trade isn't ready.
07 / COMMON MISTAKES

EIGHT WAYS NEW USERS LOSE MONEY

Almost every new user makes at least three of these in their first month. Reading this list is cheaper than learning them by losing.

MISTAKE 01
Trading something not on the Radar
"This stock looks like it's about to break out." Fix: If Radar didn't flag it, you don't have a setup. You have a hunch. Move on.
MISTAKE 02
Ignoring a Neutral MTF Score
"The signal looks great even though Score is Neutral." Fix: Neutral means the trend is chop. Even a perfect signal fails in chop. Skip it.
MISTAKE 03
No stop loss set before entry
"I'll watch it and exit if it goes against me." Fix: You won't. You'll freeze, hope, average down, and bag-hold. Set the stop in the Analyzer before you click buy.
MISTAKE 04
Buying 0DTE on day one
"More leverage, more profit, right?" Fix: 0DTE decays in hours. New users almost always lose on them. Start with weeklies or monthlies until you have 10 wins under your belt.
MISTAKE 05
Picking strikes with no volume
"It's so cheap." Fix: Low volume equals wide bid/ask spread. You'll lose 10 to 20% the moment you fill. Always pick liquid strikes, even if they cost more.
MISTAKE 06
Trading every signal the Radar fires
"It fired, so I take it." Fix: Radar finds candidates, not trades. The Analyze step exists to filter them. Most signals don't survive Phase 2. That's the point.
MISTAKE 07
Adding all five tools on day one
"I paid for all of it, I want to use all of it." Fix: Start with Radar and MTF. Two weeks. Add SBox and Analyzer in week two. You'll learn faster and trade better.
MISTAKE 08
Moving the stop further away when wrong
"It'll come back." Fix: The stop is your line in the sand. Moving it deletes the entire risk plan. The Analyzer prints the stop on the chart for a reason. Respect it.
08 / QUICK REFERENCE

THE WHOLE SYSTEM ON ONE CARD

Print this. Tape it next to your monitor. When in doubt, look here.

→ sXSuite Core / Quick Reference
Scan. Analyze. Execute. Every trade walks every step.
sXRadar
Find the setup. If a ticker isn't on the Radar, you don't have a trade.
sXMTF Trends
Read the Score. Lean = caution. Strong = standard. Super = press. Neutral = skip.
sXSBox
Map the trade. Box top is resistance, midpoint is pivot, target points are your TPs.
sXOptions Chain
Pick liquid strikes. Delta 0.30 to 0.55 for most trades. Skip thin volume.
sXOptions Analyzer
Lock entry. Set TPs from SBox levels. Set stop BEFORE buying. Turn on Live P&L.
The Discipline Rule
If you can't check every box, you don't have a trade. Step away and wait for the next one.
